What is Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Benefit?
ACP extends a discount on broadband service and connected devices to eligible households. Enacted into law on November 15, 2021, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Infrastructure Act) allocates $14.2 billion to transition and expand the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) into a longer-term initiative known as the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
We’re dedicated to offering eligible customers free wireless service, fostering connections to family, friends, emergency services, job opportunities, and more. This monthly service includes unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data, plus additional low-speed data for ample access to essential services on phones or tablets.
Eligibility For The Program
Eligibility for Tribal Households
If your household resides on eligible tribal lands, you may be eligible for the ACP through participation in a Tribal assistance program. Qualifying programs include:
- Head Start households meeting the income criteria
- Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
- Tribal TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
Eligibility for Enhanced Support
If your household is situated on qualifying Tribal lands, you are entitled to an enhanced support discount of up to $75 per month for your broadband service. Additionally, a one-time device discount may also be accessible, though it doesn’t include enhanced features. Your household automatically qualifies for the enhanced Tribal benefit if you are eligible for ACP, regardless of the method through which your household qualifies for ACP. How to qualify ACP program?
To qualify for the ACP benefit, your total household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or you can qualify through specific government programs. Please refer to the list below for program-based eligibility criteria.
